What are No-Translation Markers?
The No-Translation Markers prevent any given text that is within these markers from being translated. By default, the non-translation markers are set to “**” but you can configure them how you want.
You also have the option to remove these translation markers, which will prevent them from being shown in your final output.
How can we use them?
The text within the stars will not be translated. An example for this is: “I love the **Cognigy.AI Platform**” (assuming you were translating to a different language than English).
This would translate everything except “Cognigy.AI Platform” because this phrase lies between the double asterisks.
Use-cases for this would be the names of companies, products and people. Obviously, you don’t want to translate your company name or any other proper name along with the sentence. Here you would put the non-translation markers around the proper name for it not to be translated.
